| Opal Town
This is the small town where the pokémon lab can be found. All trainers must receive their starter pokémon from Professor Sycamore.

| Route 1 - Sandy Banks
Sandy Banks is a short stretch of shrub that leads to flowing sand dunes. Many weak pokémon are found here.

| Route 2 - The Dunes
The Dunes are man made and slope back towards Opal Town. They are a quick way to return home because if you stand at the top of one you will slowly slide down to the bottom.

| Sucre City
Sucre City is located to the north of Opal Town. It holds the first gym battle of the region with the leader battling with normal types. There is also a pokémart and pokémall. To the east of the city is a beefarm that sells delightful honey.

| Bee Farm
The Bee Farm is run by a local family. A loud buzzing can be heard from a mile away because of all of the bee pokémon.

| Route 3 - Emerald Cove
Emerald Cove is a large cavern at the foot of a mountain. Inside it the walls are ladened with gemstones. The miner might sell you something quite special.

| Route 4 - Skye Mountain
Skye Mountain is the mountain above Emerald Cove. It reaches higher than the clouds in some parts and many flying pokémon have nests here.

| Flitt City
Flitt City is home to the second gym. This time the leader uses flying type pokémon. All the usual essentials are here too. It is quite a bland city - there isn't much of a buzz to it.

| Route 5 - Aqua Path
Aqua Path is a stretch of water that can be surfed across to reach Geiser City. Geiser City can also be reached by passing through Bubble Town.

| Route 6 - Rocky Road
Rocky Road is the alternative way to reach Geiser City. It forks when it nears Bubble Town. One way heads you to Bubble Town, another to Vacuole City and the third goes to Green Town.

| Bubble Town
Bubble Town is a small fishing town. Its coastline is spectacular with a great industry of fisherman. The inhabitants are very patriotic towards water pokémon.

| Vacuole City
Vacuole City holds the fourth gym battle but many trainers get this badge before the Geiser City one because it is further away and harder to get to. The gym leader has only grass types and fights with style.

| Green Town
Green Town is an overgrown place which many travellers stop by in. It has no houses but it does have a small pokécenter. The machinery in it is not too great so some pokémon healed in it may suffer side effects like confusion or paralysis.

| Geiser City
Geiser City has the third gym. It specializes in water pokémon in particular fish types, because of this the city has a river running through it which provides clean and fresh water for every house and building.

| Route 7 - Jade Forest
Jade Forest is home to many bug and grass type pokémon however they are fairly low levels and are all first stage. Many hard stones can be found here and a lot of pokémon carry one round with them. This route follows on from Vacuole City.

| Route 8 - Limestone Plain
Limestone Plain is an expanse of limestone pavement that follows on from Green Town. It is easy to cross but some travelling trainers get trapped in the many cracks in the rocks. It is a good idea to have strong pokémon with you when crossing here.

| Route 9 - Coastal Walk
Coastal Walk curves around the foot of a small mountain. Its passes very close to the sea. It follows on from Geiser City. The weather around here can be harsh and dangerous.

| Snowloft City
Snowloft City sits at the top of Skye Mountain. The ground is covered with snow and ice but the gym leader uses dark types. Oxygen is sparce up there so there are a lot of trees to produce oxygen. Watch out for Abomasnow, there are plenty.

| Route 10 - Icey Slopes
The Icey Slopes are a haven for skiiers and snowboarders. They are natural slopes which house many ice pokemon.

Cloud City is very technologically advanced. It has a huge pokémart which sells many things. Its gym leader uses bug/flying types.

Although the Azelf Ruins feature many drawings and shrines to Azelf, it has never been sighted here. It is thought that a tribe of people lived here who worshipped azelf and that they died out on a journey to find the legendary pokémon.

| Route 12 - Viney Jungle
Viney Jungle is a spectacular sight. It gives home to a huge variety of pokémon. The area is always silent.

Aurin Isle the 2nd is the second of islands in the three island chain. It is a large dormant volcano which gives a nice environment for fire pokémon. to live in.

| Aurin Isle the 3rd
Aurin Isle the 3rd was created when the second Aurin Isle erupted. The scalding magma ran down the hill and into the ocean. It seeped across and built up and cooled forming the third of the islands. This islande is very cold and desolate with not many pokémon living there.

The wind and solar energy plant is very busy. The turbines and solar panels are often warm because of the amoutn of energy they produce. Quite a few species of pokémon live here.

Sapphire Coast Aquarium is a thriving business on the beautiful Sapphire Coast. Many of the exhibits pokémon can be purchsed as an egg from the main office.
